MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Flying Eagles FC had some bad luck in the Safa Eden Regional Men's League when they lost 0-1 against Fast Eleven (George) at the Thembalethu Stadium in George on Saturday 29 November.
Zefanias Mabunda of Fast Eleven scored the only goal of the game.
Fast Eleven's goalkeeper, Mihlali Siko, successfully denied the Flying Eagles any chance of scoring themselves.
Looking strong
The game started at a fast pace as the Fast Eleven players built their passes from the centre of the field, going forwards into the box.
The Flying Eagles were determined and looked strong on the left side of the field, employing the pace of Liyabukwa Dyonta to break down Fast Eleven's backline.

Lixa Bomvana of the Flying Eagles tried his luck in the first half. However, he missed the target.
Kamvalethu Dyordane and Mkhanyisi Manciya of Fast Eleven were in the game looking for loopholes, but it was not easy for them to break through the net, ending the first-half with a goalless draw.
More pressure
The second half saw the Flying Eagles apply more pressure on Fast Eleven's defenders. Mabunda netted the first goal to make it 1-0 after beating the Flying Eagles' goalkeeper, Luxolo Joka.
Fast Eleven gained more confidence after hitting the back of the net and were pushing for a second goal in the last few minutes.
However, they failed to convert their clear-cut chances. The exciting game ended 1-0 in favour of Fast Eleven.
The Flying Eagles' head coach, Hero Nkabinde, told Mossel Bay Advertiser the Safa Eden Regional Men's League is completely different to the Local Football Association (LFA).
"Let's wait and see when 10 January comes - their team will be better and they will definitely improve on their weaknesses!" he said.
