MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A truck driver and his crew member were locked in the back of their truck after they were held up at gunpoint and robbed outside a shop in Asla Park yesterday morning, 9 November.
The KwaNonqaba Police Station’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, said they had been delivering bread to a shop in Asla Park just after 09:30 when three armed men approached them and held them up.
The gunmen stole an undisclosed amount of cash, two cellphones, a wallet, some bank cards and a driver’s licence before locking the two in the back and fleeing the scene.
The victims were helped out by a member of the community and the police were called. The victims were not injured during the robbery.
