MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The next meeting of the the Probus Club in Mossel Bay, for retired business people and professionals, will be on Monday, 7 July.

Probus is a contraction of the words, PROfessional and BUSiness.

The club is a platform for like-minded retirees to build friendships. They attend monthly talks and go on outings together. 

Guests and new retirees to Mossel Bay are welcome to attend the presentation on 7 July by Alta Landman, titled Positivity and the Brain.

Landman is an on-foot adventurer, water aerobics coach and motivational speaker. 

She will speak on how to develop and maintain a positive mindset. 

A Probus spokesperson said: "Alta is always cheerful and this talk will be a great follow-up to the one on artificial intelligence that neurologist Dr Andre Leonard gave to the club earlier this year."

The meeting takes place at 12:00 at the the Santos Express train conference venue. Please bring a pen to the talk. The attendance fee is R20. 

You are welcome to stay for lunch, at your own cost, at the restaurant at the Santos Express train afterwards.
