MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A businessman from Mossel Bay who allegedly took people's deposits for solar panels without doing the work has made his second appearance in court.
The 45-year-old Andre Boshoff appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Friday, 3 November on charges of fraud of thousands of rand.
Police say the complainants allegedly paid between R85 000 and R39 000 for solar panels.
At least seven charges have been laid against Boshoff at various police stations in Mossel Bay and three more charges are expected to be added to the charge sheet.
Bail was granted during Boshoff’s previous court appearance and the case has been postponed until the 18th of January.
