MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A woman, allegedly linked to two cases of broken shop windows in town, appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Thursday, 3 October.
Mia Wales (46) appeared on a charge of malicious damage to property. She made her first appearance in the same court on Monday, 23 September after an investigation by the police led to her arrest.
A police spokesperson, Sergeant Chris Spies said a 40-year-old man was also arrested in connection with a broken shop window on 28 September.
He was charged with malicious damage to property and appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday, 30 September.
Spies previously told Mossel Bay Advertiser that since 14 September, nine cases have been opened at the Mossel Bay Police Station following shop windows in town that were broken.
The matter against Wales was postponed until 15 October for a bail application. She remains in custody.
The man is expected to appear in court again on Monday, 7 October for a bail application and remains behind bars.
