MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Sao Bras High School in Mossel Bay held an assembly on Wednesday 27 August to honour Ap Jan Horne, who was once a learner at the school 50 years ago.
Mossel Bay’s roots are deeply embedded in his DNA, Horne says. As a teenager in 1975, he had an encounter with Christ at Sao Bras High.
On Wednesday, he celebrated 50 years since that divine moment that ushered him into his destiny as a pastor and apostle.
In 1978, he matriculated from Sao Bras, and the journey of becoming a successful pastor, apostle and businessman unfolded.
He relocated to George in 1983 and married his wife, Veronica. Together, they established the Eagles Nest International Ministries in Dellville Park, George, in 1993.
In 1995, Horne embarked upon an international journey and forged international spiritual relationships with European and South American Covenant Keepers and across the globe.
“Today I show my gratitude to Sao Bras High School as the place where my spiritual roots are spread across the hectares of the school, as well as the teachers who had had an impact on my life,” said Horne.
Horne hosted church services at the Eagles Nest International Ministries on Saturday and Sunday, 30 and 31 August, to continue celebrating his 50 years in the ministry.
