MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three men accused of kidnapping a 16-year-old girl appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 22 January and Thursday, 23 January.
The suspects - aged 30, 38 and 48 - are charged with abduction and kidnapping.
The matter of an official bail application was postponed due to outstanding documents that are required before proceeding.
The suspects are expected to appear again on Friday, 10 February, and will remain in custody until then.
The girl was allegedly abducted from a residence in JCC Camp in Mossel Bay on Christmas Eve and was reported missing by her aunt at about 23:00.
A white Isuzu light duty vehicle (LDV), which was heading to Cape Town, was traced on the N2 by police officers attached to the Overberg Flying Squad, Overberg Task Team and Caledon Police.
The suspects were arrested on Christmas Day at the entrance of Caledon, a town in the Overberg region.
The victim was reunited with her family later on Christmas Day.
The men made their first court appearance on 27 December, shortly after their arrest.
