MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality has reminded its residents and holidaymakers that the use and possession of alcohol on local beaches is strictly prohibited.
This prohibition has been put in place to ensure the safety of all beach-goers, to promote a family-friendly environment and to support law enforcement and community well-being.
"Law enforcement, the SAPS and community safety partners are closely monitoring the beaches, with CCTV monitoring and patrols supporting enforcement," said the municipality.
"Notices and fines will be issued where necessary. We urge everyone to respect this regulation and help keep Mossel Bay's beaches safe, welcoming spaces for all."
