MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Teachers from Hillcrest Secondary School decided not to let Christmas be cancelled due to Covid-19 and they spread joy at a local day care centre.
The teachers made up shoe boxes filled with goodies and handed them out at Mickey Mouse Daycare.
Apart from filling the boxes, the teachers also rolled up their sleeves and made cupcakes for the little ones. A donation for sweets was also given. "We are very grateful to Sergeant Kay James of the Mossel Bay Police Station as well as Sergeant Care Bear, who accompanied us," the teachers said.
The Rotary Interact Club, led by Connie Petersen and Claire du Plessis, also contributed to the project.
