MARTHA LEEUWNER: "Now that the dams are full, we shouldn't waste water. Saving water should be a lifestyle. We're extremely grateful for the rain. We need more tanks and each house should have its independent water supply. Children should be taught at school to save water."
NADIA JACOBS: "I live in a flat and don't use much water. I do clothes washing once a week. I buy bottled water."
ESCA SCHOEMAN: "We are lucky to get this rain but, with global warming, all the forecasts say it will become drier. Drought affects the economy. We need more tanks and water should be recycled. We should use buckets to catch the water while we shower. We need geysers that warm water faster as well."
HELENA BLOEM: "I think we need to be careful with water use, to prevent another shortage. Some people do waste water."
