MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - There are veld fires in the area of the N2 Dana By turn-off and Asla Park.
A fire was also started at the Crotz Street and Louis Fourie Road intersection, close to the transfer station.
Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management Services are at the scene, assisted by the Great Brak Fire Station crews.
Extreme caution is advised.

The N2 is open in both directions while the Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management crews are attending to the fires. Motorists are advised to be cautious because of the smoke over the roadway.
