Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mikeva Hyper Cash and Carry reopened for trading today. This after being closed temporarily earlier this week due to non-compliance with the national lockdown regulations.
The temporary closure followed an inspection by the Department of Employment and Labour where Mikeva was found lacking in terms of precautionary social distancing between the client and cashier. Sanitisers in the workplace were also not certified.
The situation has since been remedied and it is business as usual.
“We would like to thank all our customers for their patience. Everything is back to normal and we will be open for trading on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you here,” Mikeva’s management wrote on their Facebook page on Thursday.
