Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - It has been established that it is True's beaked whales, a mother and calf, that stranded at Little Brak River.
Dr Gwyneth Penry and her scientific team are busy taking samples.
It is only the second recording of a mother and calf of this species stranding on the South African coast.
Volunteers of S.M.A.R.T are also on the scene to perform crowd control.
Take note that the Little Brak River has been closed until further notice as a precaution in case of shark activity in the area.
