School hosts top economist, community leaders at business breakfast

MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND GALLERY -Point High School hosted a special breakfast for Mossel Bay’s key business people and community influencers in the school hall today, Saturday 26 February.

The guest speaker was internationally noted economist and TV and radio anchor man Dawie Roodt.

Roodt is chief economist of the Efficient Group and chairman of Efficient Private Clients (Pty) Ltd, based in Johannesburg.

The executive mayor of Mossel Bay Dirk Kotzé and the municipal director: corporate services Edward Jantjies were among the specially invited guests.

The importance of businesses’ and community leaders’ partnering with schools to strive for excellence and the creation of a better society and a better town was emphasised at the event.
