MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A Tsogo Sun Moves for Life chess tournament for primary school learners was held at the Garden Route Casino on Saturday, 10 September.
The annual tournament was well attended. It is always a boost for learners from different schools to compete against one another.

- U9 Boys: Gold and Overall winner Emzeo Leshawa (Diaz), Silver Eldin-Lee Fran (Diaz), Bronze Arlo Scholtz (Curro)
- U11 Girls: Gold Perslin Farmer (Diaz), Silver Raynique Petersen (Diaz), Bronze Hailey Scholtz (Diaz)
- U11 Boys: Gold and overall winner Navin-Leigh Cupido (Ridgeview), Silver Emile Olckers (Garden Route Primary), Bronze Wybrandt Hurter (Curro)
- U13 Girls: All three winners from Diaz Primary: Gold Mekaylin Robertson, Silver Zee-Lyne Jacobs, Bronze Yshah le Kay
- U13 Boys: Gold and overall winner Raynier Claassen (Diaz), Silver Emerique Harris (Diaz), Bronze Migael Claassen (Hartenbos Primary)
Overall winner of the tournament: Raynier Claassen (Diaz)
