MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The law, Act 93 of 1996, requires that all vehicles must be licensed annually.
The owner of the vehicle must ensure that licence renewals are done timeously.
If a vehicle licence renewal is not done the vehicle owner is liable for late licensing penalties. There is a grace period of 21 days after the expiry of the vehicle licence without incurring penalties and arrear payments.
Considering the state of national disaster due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mossel Bay Municipality urges vehicle owners to renew their licences online.

- Download the renewal notice.
The bank payment can be made and the licence can be forwarded to the applicant.

Proof of payment, renewal notice, and the owner's identity document must be sent to admin@mosselbay.gov.za.
The licence document will then be forwarded by mail to the vehicle owner's address on the Navis system.
