MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works, Bonginkosi Madikizela concluded his visit to the Garden Route to check the taxi industry’s compliance with Covid-19 regulations in Mossel Bay today.
Addressing taxi owners in the CBD, he commended the industry on their overall compliance across the region.
Regarding specific concerns raised like the issuing of operating licenses, the Minister committed himself to a return visit. He asked leadership of the taxi association to list their issues and send it to him before his return. “When I come here again, I want to come with solutions.”
The Minister also discussed issues regarding the upgrade of Louis Fourie Road, which due to budget, has to be reprioritised.
