MOSSEL BAY NEWS - This afternoon, a suspected drowning was reported at Dias beach.
According to eyewitnesses, an adult man disappeared in the surf whilst swimming.
He was assisted by life savers on duty who brought him to shore and administered resuscitation.
Emergency services arrived at the scene, where the man was declared deceased.
It is suspected that the man died of a heart attack, but the exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
