Growth
Ziva told Mossel Bay Advertiser today she is excited about opening new SACBW branches in the Western Cape and about growing the council footprint and increasing its membership.
She stressed the importance of collaboration between business women to ensure their success.
In her speech at the SACBW Mossel Bay branch meeting at the Diaz Hotel today, when the new leaders and committee were announced, she stressed the importance of women looking after themselves this year and taking care of their own needs and their own mental health.
Sisterhood
The SACBW describes itself as a "sisterhood".
Ziva announced that as part of this nurturing environment, the SACBW had instituted a "helpline" - an email address that women could use if they were going through a difficult time and needed assistance. She said professionals - trained and sympathetic - would be available to assist in these cases. The email address is: heartbeat@sacbw.org.
"Pray for me," she asked the SACBW members present. "I have major responsibilities this year in serving women within the organisation."
