HIV awareness necessary

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Act Aware. Acting aware means finding out the facts about HIV and using this knowledge to protect yourself and others from HIV infection.

Mossel Bay participated in World Aids Day and residents were encouraged to arm themselves with facts in the fight against HIV.

World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have died.

World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.


Mossel Bay residents participated in a World Aids Day awareness march, to the beat of a local band.
