MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A highlight at the annual Dias Festival, themed Where Cultures Meet, is the celebration of the Bartholomeu Dias Museum's birthday.
Every year, the museum is abuzz with music, laughter, colourful outfits and hearty fellowship as locals and international guests attending the festival rub shoulders around the showstopper at the event - a giant, delicious birthday cake.
This year, on Saturday, 1 February, the community is invited to celebrate the museum's 31st birthday at 10:00. Guests are encouraged to adhere to the dress code, being either traditional or smart casual.
