Die Groot-Brakriviermonding is oop en die hoë watervlakke in die rivier sal binnekort begin daal.
GROOT-BRAKRIVIER NUUSFLITS - Die Groot-Brakriviermonding is oop en die hoë watervlakke in die rivier sal binnekort begin daal.

Die riviermond is as voorsorgmaatreël vroeër as geskeduleer geopen nadat die Wolwedansdam se wal begin oorstroom het na heelwat reën in die opvangsgebied die afgelope naweek.

Daar is sedert gister hard gewerk om die mond se opening voor te berei. Dit water het vanmiddag na die see deurgebreek.
 
 
 
Die mond was so 14:30 oop.
