Fundraiser to help save seabirds

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A memorable evening of entertainment, good food and wine has been organised to raise funds for the Seabird and Penguin Rehabilitation Centre (SAPREC).

The fun event will take place at the Sandpiper Leisure Centre at Boggomsbaai on Friday 3 June, from 18:00 until late.

SAPREC is based at Mossdustria, outside Mossel Bay, on the way to Cape Town. Its staff and volunteers do sterling work, rehabilitating sick and injured seabirds.

Here is a chance to help save seabirds and enjoy yourself at the same time in the beautiful environment of Boggomsbaai.

Musician Albert Meintjes of Mossel Bay will entertain guests, there will be a welcome drink, supper, lucky draws and wine tasting.

Tickets cost R250 per person.
