MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND GALLERY - The Myrtle Tree NPO held a breakfast to honour single mothers on Saturday, 7 May, at the Hotel Portao Diaz in D'Almeida, Mossel Bay.
The founder of the NPO, which provides practical support to single moms, Berenice Kogana Paulson, organised the breakfast, held the day before Mother's Day.
Veteran actress Vicky Kente, who plays the part of Virginia in the television soapie, Getroud met Rugby, was the speaker at the event.

Kente was in the original cast of the epic TV soapie, Egoli.

Besides being an actress, she is a communications consultant, independent producer, researcher and motivational speaker. Kente is also a single mother of four.
She spoke on the topic of forgiveness at the breakfast. A fashion show formed part of the breakfast event. Models from Gemini Model and Talent Agency modelled evening dresses. Former Mrs South Africa, Tereza Troskie-Herbst, also modelled.
She was in Mossel Bay last weekend to promote the Dream Girl SA pageant she has founded.
The fashion show was a bonus at the breakfast.
