MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Artist Anthony Noble make an impact with his paintings because they carry a spiritual message.
Noble shared his artistic gift with the residents of Benevolent Park senior citizens' complex during a session on Wednesday, 3 May.
The session was called Ministering through painting.
After completing his painting, Noble explained its message as follows: "The painting depicts that life does not always work out the way we plan.
"The dark sky is often associated with storms and trouble, but because of the black background (sky), every colour used after that will appear brighter. The light breaks through, thus causing the rest of the picture to be flooded with light."
According to Shirley Herman, who facilitated the session at Benevolent Park, the seniors thoroughly enjoyed the session with Noble.
"They were like a well-prepared field that has been ploughed and harrowed. They literally drank up what I had to share. The painting and its message fitted them like a hand in a glove," Herman said.
She added that Noble's message was one of encouragement and upliftment.
