Western Cape still blue with DA above 50%

The IEC has issued a notification apologising for the disruption of their results feed. This also impacts the Group Editors Live feed and the election results will be back online as soon as the IEC has sorted out the problem.

Western Cape still blue with DA above 50%
Election analyst Dawie Scholtz shares his insights and predictions on X (Twitter).

NATIONAL NEWS - This morning just after 06:00 elections data cruncher, Dawie Scholtz predicted that the DA will take more than 55% of the vote in the Western Cape. 

He says the ANC will end in a bad second place with less than 20% of the support and the PA ending with less than 10%. 

His prediction is very much in line with the current state of affairs with 62% of the votes counted by 06:00.

The IEC has issued a notification apologising for the disruption of their results feed. 

This also impacts the Group Editors Live feed and the election results will be back online as soon as the IEC has sorted out the problem.
