MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Municipal Electoral Officer, Edward Jantjies confirmed on enquiry that votes have been counted for all 33 voting stations in the Mossel Bay area.
“Result slips have been checked and audited. Preliminary results show that the DA won 10 wards and the ANC 5. Due to the fact that this is a PR election we are still determining how many seats each party will receive.”
Jantjies said that an outright majority is expected for the DA.
