ELECTION NEWS AND VIDEO - Western Cape provincial electoral officer Courtney Sampson answered a number of concerns raised by political parties about the voting process.
Key concerns raised were the problems experienced with indelible ink.
The fact that the indelible ink was apparently removable in a number of cases may have given rise to a margin of voters fraudulently voting more than once.
Problems were also mentioned about insufficient ballot papers at a number of polling stations.
Sampson said the question ultimately should be whether the problems raised materially affected the outcome of the election.
He also shared his personal opinion of the success of the 2019 national and provincial election.
