BUSINESS NEWS - Nestled at the heart of Mossel Bay, on the corner of Spring and Church Street, Vitalvet Mossel Bay is your go-to destination for the very best in health and wellness.
It has become a cornerstone for local pet owners seeking comprehensive, compassionate and reliable care.
Vitalvet Mossel Bay offers a variety of services.
A fully equipped theatre and laboratory
The surgery team is able to handle everything from routine sterilisations to soft-tissue surgeries, dentals and X-ray procedures on a daily basis.
Advanced diagnostics
In-house lab support helps the Vitalvet team to deliver precise and timely treatment. An Idexx Catalyst One chemistry analyser was recently added to the laboratory. This is an advanced chemistry analyser used in veterinary practices to perform various blood chemistry tests, enabling the team to provide results in-house, rather than sending samples to an external lab.
One-stop clinic and retail
Alongside veterinary services, Vitalvet’s spacious retail area offers premium pet food, toys, training aids, tick and flea preventatives, bowls, jerseys and so much more.
Meet the team
With her extraordinary passion for animals, Dr Kayleigh-Jean Legge has become a beloved veterinarian amongst clients.
Dr Anuschka Fourie, who grew up in the Garden Route, is thoroughly enjoying servicing the clients of Mossel Bay. Her biggest goal is to make a difference, whether it’s a routine check-up or complex case.
There is nothing more satisfying to Dr Johann Rauch than improving the bond between owners and their pets. He joined Vitalvet at the end of 2023 and spends a lot of time with clients who have grown very fond of him.
Dr Renee Perold has worked in the UK, meaning she brings world-class knowledge to the team. She is extremely passionate about all things related to small animals - medicine, surgery, emergency and intensive care. She wants to make sure her patients are healthy so that they can spend their best life with their owners.
