MOSSEL BAY BUSINESS NEWS - Having small classes and giving children individual attention are huge pluses, but they have become even more important than usual in light of Covid-19.
Global Academy of Education, a private primary school in Heiderand, Mossel Bay, has been able to give classes every day, when other schools were forced to follow an alternate day rotational timetable due to lockdown restrictions.
Keeping its numbers small has enabled Global Academy to provide a consistently excellent service to its learners.
And this has been a huge relief to Global Academy's parents.

Having children going to school only on alternate days and with limited hours has been a major challenge for parents at other schools, especially for those with more than one child and children in different grades. At several schools different grades have attended school on different days. Parents working full-time have had to arrange for childcare, at great cost.
Like state schools, Global Academy offers the CAPS curriculum, as well as the usual cultural activities and sports.
It is a Christian school, focusing on the holistic development of the child.
The school is accredited by Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance and Further Education and Training.
