Protein Palace is hosting their Best Boerewors in Mossel Bay competition.

This mouth-watering competition does not only appeal to the taste buds. With travel, accommodation and entertainment prizes to the value of R85 000 up for grabs from 1st to 9th place, it is all the encouragement you need to discover your inner boerewors expert.

But how does it work?
The competition runs from 1 July to 31 August. During the preliminary round, samples of the boerewors is made exactly to your recipe, and will be given to a panel of judges. This panel, randomly selected and made up of seven families, will taste your boerewors offering once a week to pick the best two.

The two weekly winners over the nine weeks of the competition, qualify for the semi-final round held on Saturday, 11 September. During the semi-final, the judges will choose nine recipes for the final battle of the taste buds. The final takes place on 26 September. Venue to be confirmed once Covid-19 level restrictions are lifted. Terms and conditions are detailed on the entry form, so make sure you know what will make you the Boerewors King or Queen of Mossel Bay.
