BUSINESS NEWS - The Office of the Mayor of Mossel Bay has launched, together with Top Save Powertrade in KwaNonqaba and the Mossel Bay Community Soup Drive NPO, an initiative to provide regular meal support to Benevolent Park, a home for the elderly.
Through this partnership, residents of Benevolent Park will receive nutritious meals every Monday for the next ten weeks, along with a special Christmas meal to be served on Christmas Day.
This festive gesture aims to bring warmth and joy to the elderly during the upcoming holiday season, reminding them that they remain cherished members of the community.
Top Save Powertrade is contributing fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as high-quality meat sourced from their renowned butchery, which prides itself on selecting the finest cuts from as far as the Karoo.
The Mossel Bay Community Soup Drive NPO is coordinating the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that each dish is made with care and respect.
The collaboration highlights the value of collective action between local government, business, and non-profit organisations in improving the well-being of vulnerable community members.
As the program continues over the coming weeks, it serves as a reminder that the strength of a community lies in its shared compassion and willingness to support one another.
Together, Mossel Bay continues to grow as a town defined by unity, kindness, and collective purpose.
