MOSSEL BAY NEWS - For the second year in a row a Mossel Bay woman has won the SA Council for Business Women national award.
This year Dinette Wessels, a beauty salon and spa business owner, won the SACBW Business Woman of the Year. This was announced at a gala event held at the Diaz Hotel in Mossel Bay tonight.
Last year Mossel Bay also won the SACBW Branch of the Year Award, therefore the national awards were held in Mossel Bay this year.
This year, for a second year in a row, Mossel Bay won the SACBW Branch of the Year Award. Mossel Bay branch chairman Ziva Spangenberg accepted the award.

SACBW national president Hanlie Delport was at the function to hand out the awards tonight.
Last year's winner of the SACBW Business Woman of the Year Award was Marlene Smit, a Mossel Bay woman who owns a gin distillery.

Sunet Anderson (right) of Vredendal on the West Coast won the national Community Warrior Woman of the Year Award for the Jala Peo Project ("plant the seed" in Sotho), which deals with health, school nutrition, training and education. With her is SACBW national president Hanlie Delport.
