BUSINESS NEWS - For three years running, Mossel Bay has chosen Monties Cycles and Sport as a Best of Mossel Bay winner - and this one feels especially close to our hearts.
Since 1985, Monties has been part of the fabric of Mossel Bay. Through changing times, changing trends and plenty of kilometres on the road, we have remained a family business built on a simple principle: looking after our people and doing things properly.
For Luther and Marius van der Mescht, Monties is about far more than bicycles and sporting equipment. It is about knowing our customers, understanding their needs, solving the problem when things go wrong and being willing to go that extra mile - even when it would be easier not to.
Our workshop team, Darren and Xabiso, share that same commitment. Darren has been part of the Monties family since 2017, bringing experience, patience and a genuine love for getting bikes back on the road. Xabiso, with us since 2021, brings energy, sporting knowledge and a willingness to help wherever he is needed.
Three consecutive wins are a wonderful honour, but what means the most is knowing they come from our community.
