At the centre, training in process control is provided to a maximum of 15 students at a time. Courses in chemical plant operations include 12 months (process control), 24 months (advanced process control) and 36 months (process artisanry). Training is also given in basic firefighting, safety health and environment, working at heights, hazard identification and risk assessment, incident and accident investigation, scaffolding safety, confined space entry, as well as first aid levels 1-3. 2 "Sover bekend, is ons tans die enigste opleidingsentrum van sy soort in die streek. Apart from Chesslin's own credentials, being a qualified paramedic, safety and chemical operations subject matter expert, facilitator and assessor, the centre boasts the rich experience of seasoned education, training and development practitioner, Solly Banda. "He was my trainer, so I couldn't go wrong."
The rest of the team comprises Chesslin's wife, Charlene as a director and finance manager and his mother Shannon, as office administrator and receptionist."
