Nippers practice for SA champs
The Mossel Bay Surf Lifesaving Club held its annual Nippers' Championships on Sunday, 18 March at Dias Beach. The Nippers are aged 13 and under. The Nippers did sprints, flag events, swims, run-swim-run events and board events. Besides being good practice for the Nippers who are competing in the SA Lifesaving National Championships in Port Elizabeth from 1 April, the children also had great fun. It was beneficial for them to compete against one another in the structured formats characteristic of the national championships.
