Die jaarlikse deurbraak van die Groot-Brakriviermond sorg gewoonlik vir ’n indrukwekkende gesig van swaar masjinerie en massas water.Dít was weer verlede week die geval toe die Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit volgens sy goedgekeurde riviermondbestuursplan die mond oopgemaak het.’n Fotograaf, Susan Pretorius, het beide die voorbereiding asook deurbraak op 18 en 19 September afgeneem.
