ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Much loved local concert pianist, Olive Sandilands joins forces with renowned musicians, cellist Susan Mouton and violinist Miroslav Chakaryan for a house concert on 19 August.
Mouton is currently Principal cellist of the JPO. In addition to her orchestral playing, she is active as a chamber musician and is frequently asked to examine for Unisa. During the past few years, she has also been involved in numerous productions with the well-known Afrikaans singer, Jannie du Toit.
Chakaryan is currently the concertmaster of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra and is very involved in chamber music and solo performances.
The trio will be performing music by Haydn, Kreisler, Saint-Saens, Glinka and Piazzolla.
