MOSSEL BAY ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Artists representing Crystal Blaq Entertainment performed at a youth development event in George last weekend.
The group consists of several individual artists, however they operate as a unit and share their creative gifts in order to strengthen their fan base.
The group calls themselves a movement and they are currently passionate about getting a message of non-violence across to the youth.
At the Red Door venue in Thembalethu, several of the group's artists performed at the Mamelan'ilali hip hop and poetry sessions.
"Our mission is to take kids off the street and bring them back home. Children have nothing to do these days. The only thing they know is smoking, drugs and killing each other. So our aim was to take them out of that," says Walter Blaq of the group.
