MOSSEL BAY NEWS - It was all glitz and glamour at the prestigious kykNET Fiësta Awards held in Cape Town on 14 February.

Shining brightly - and walking away with the Fiësta Award for Best Musical Performance in 2018 - was Mossel Bay pianist Olive Sandilands - who accompanied brilliant violinists Zanta Hofmeyr and Miro Chakaryan in Violin Dialogues at last year's Aardklop Festival. 

The Mossel Bay Arts Society hosted this breathtaking concert in an intimate concert in August last year, before the Aardklop Festival. Realising that this was a world-class act, the society immediately arranged for the artists to return in 2019 - in addition to setting up four other concerts in the region.

This award-winning concert will take place in Mossel Bay on 2 May. A concert of such magnitude is not to be missed and fine music lovers are reminded to diarise the date. More information is available from Abé Meintjes (083 268 3718).
