RUGBY NEWS - pringbok flanker Jaco Kriel will miss the rest of the Vodacom Super Rugby season after he has been forced to undergo another shoulder operation.
And it may well be that the Emirates Lions may well not see him in action for them again if he is lured overseas when he returns from the injury.
Kriel, who missed the last six months of rugby because of a shoulder injury, was due to return this month to action, but the shoulder, by all accounts has not responded to any treatment and thus a decision was made to send him for another operation.
The move is a massive blow to the Emirates Lions as Kriel is one of their most senior figures and extremely influential to the side.
Kriel first injured the shoulder in the Castle Lager Rugby Championship match against Australia on September 9 last year and was due to be back in action this month.
