MOSSEL BAY SCHOOL SPORTS NEWS - Ridgview learner Masipaya Mfumbe, who represented Mossel Bay in the Western Cape team at the All Ages netball tournament, is yet another local talent that has made the town proud.

After having notable struggles to get to the tournament, due to financial need, an anonymous sponsor at the last minute made her dream possible.

This determined young netball player honoured her sponsor's vote of confidence, by making sure that she made her mark at the tournament.

According to Rene Booysen from Ridgeview, also Masipaya's coach, she played 10 matches at the national tournament in Boksburg. "She was player of the match against Mpumalanga.

"Masipaya is a committed player. She showed excellent discipline. She is hardworking, with lots of potential," Booysen told the Mossel Bay Advertiser this week.
