A team was selected to represent SWD on a regional level and some of these riders competed at Kyalami Equestrian Centre in Johannesburg, as part of the Western Cape team in a national competition.
The high school riders of SWD managed to collect three individual rosettes and primary school riders collected a whopping nine individual rosettes. Overall, the Western Cape team came third which brought an end to a great season for SANESA.
The Western Cape also managed many team rosettes and 41 places in total.
The SWD performance is exceptionally great because it is the smallest and youngest province in the competition.
