Although some girls had taken an early break, we still had a good number of players enjoying the individual golfing event in beautiful conditions on Thursday, 18 April.
Ina Swart took the honours with 36 points. I think the rough is playing havoc with the ladies these days, as the scores were lower than normal, and we could not even blame the wind.
Marina Juta, who also had a nearest the pin was one shot off the lead and managed to count out Annette Meyer into third place (35 points). Shirley Pressley and Leoni de Beer both had 34 points, Leoni pipping Shirley into fifth place this time.
A few G Cup points were collected, and again the points table did a little jig.
