MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The most successful international golfer of all time and all-round gentleman Gary Player, honoured Pinnacle Point Estate and Mossel Bay with a visit on Thursday, 9 January.
Gary Player, Jo Morley Jepson, business tycoon and Rangers Football Club Chairman, Dave King and wife Ladina King arrived in high spirits at the Pinnacle Point driving range and Louis Oosthuizen Junior Academy for their pre-round warm-ups.
In true Gary Player fashion the World Golf Hall Of Famer took some time out of his warm-up to show a young aspiring golfer how to improve her game.
Player never hesitated to strike up a conversation with admirers sporting his trademark smile and charismatic presence. After their warm-up and a welcoming meet and greet from Player, the four-ball took to the Pinnacle Point Golf Course.
The 84-year-old Grand Slam golfer is still in fantastic shape and showed his timeless class on the course with a swing and short game any golfer would admire.
"I’ve been a professional golfer for 67 years and travelled more miles than most. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more spectacular views on a golf course. We will be back," Player stated after his round on the scenic course.
