MOSSEL BAY SPORT NEWS - It all started with a vision and a love of running they all have in common.
After weeks of preparation seven Southern Cape athletes will take on the Sanlam Virtual Cape Town Marathon on 18 October to help communities in need.
Anderson Ncube, John April, Tonya Schoeman, Bianca La Grange, Carla Bezuidenhout and Patrick van der Ross will all take part in the race, all with different distances.
Schoeman and Bezuidenhout are from Mossel Bay and ask that members of the community and businesses support them in raising funds via their running.
Most of the other athletes are from Oudtshoorn. The runners will be finalising their route this week, which will be in Oudtshoorn.

Anderson Ncube and John April started the initiative because so many people lost their jobs during the lockdown and they noticed there were more children on the street than usual.
“We all look forward to the race, because it is for a worthy cause, close to our hearts,” the athletes say with one voice.
