Family of 8 hacked to death in KZN

NATIONAL NEWS - Eight people have been killed in an attack in the Mabheleni area ion the KwaZulu Natal south coast.

It's understood that the attack at the homestead happened in the early hours of this morning.

Authorities are still at the scene of the gruesome crime.

Police spokesperson Jay Naicker says four adults and four children are among the victims.

"When they got to the scene they found the bodies of eight people. Four adults and four children. It appears that the victims have been hacked to death. Three people have been taken in for questioning" he said.
