Eskom tariff hike into effect Friday
Eskom says, as it stands the 9.4% tariff increase comes into effect on Friday, unless there's a legal order to stop it.
NATIONAL NEWS - Eskom says, as it stands the 9.4% tariff increase comes into effect on Friday, unless there's a legal order to stop it.

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) is heading to the High Court this week to challenge the utility's electricity hike, saying a 3.31 percent increase is more reasonable.

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) approved the increase, which was less than the 16.6% Eskom had asked for.
