Nanda Redmond, the owner of Keno, a Border Collie, said a pet grooming company in Centurion came to fetch Keno in the morning for his regular grooming.
“They called me later around 11:15 to tell me that an accident had occurred in which my dog had been burnt a little bit under his tail and his hind legs,” she said.
"The parlour took my dog to Bakenkop veterinary clinic in Centurion just near Hendrik Verwoerd.
"Around 11:35, I received a call from the Bakenkop animal clinic‘s management, saying the dog actually had more extensive and serious injuries."
