MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Pinnacle Point Estate in Mossel Bay has confirmed an accident took place on the estate involving a golf cart, transporting four guests at a private property on the estate.
Video footage of the incident has been shared widely on social media.
Pinnacle Point general manager Charl van der Linde told Mossel Bay Advertiser the accident took place on Saturday, 21 September, at about 14:00, when the people were driving to Oyster Bay.
He said that going downhill, "they lost control of the golf cart as a result of what appeared to be brake failure".
The four occupants of the golf cart were injured. He said emergency services were called and arrived at the scene scene very quickly.
Van der Linde said the estate wished the guests a speedy recovery and he thanked emergency services for their quick response.
